Ocracoke Was a blast!
We allready knew Ocracoke NC. was one of our favorite places to
play, but this past visit was crazy. We had tons of fun and the response from visitor's all over the World was amazing. We do have some video getting ready to make its way the archives so stay tuned. We also have plenty of pictures to come.
Can't wait to go back!

Cosmic Groove Lizards video Project update!

The documentary project is well underway with over 50 hours of footage to cull through we are making leaps and bounds towards our feature length DVD. Big ups to Brian Houser, Duncan Hill, Taylor Gill, Luke Bruellman,Andrea Staley, and Dave Hatman for their  hard work thus far. We are still needing more interested videographers for collaboration in this project. *If interested please contact Mark @ 910-228-6210

has gone gold! CA records is distributing the compilation in Europe and Asia. We are so excited to be a part of it. Europe/ Asia get ready for the Cosmic Groove Lizards!!!

Cosmic Groove Lizards would like to introduce their newest member on keyboards... Shawn Good has been tinkling on the ivory with the lizards for a few months now and we decided to make it official. Shawn adds rich backrounds and fills to the diverse sound of cgl

Eduardo Somech Joins the Cosmic Groove Lizards
 
We are so thrilled to have added Ed Somech to the lizard line up. After sitting in with us @ Wilson's restaurant and a weekend of serious deliberation Eduardo Somech has decided to become a LIZARD!. I knew instantly he was the ideal candidate for the available drum/percussion position. We are happy to have in on board and look forward to many future musical endeavors.
 
Eduardo Somech
born and raised in Dorado, Puerto Rico.  Ed received a Bachelors in Music from Mars Hill College NC. Ed plays the steel drum, guitar, bass, drum set and percussion. Ed currently works a s a music educator and contract percussionist. Ed's influences are Bob Marley,  The Meters, Santana, and Michael Camilo.
